We’ve been to 18 concerts so far this year. In fairness to the upcoming shows with Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Patti Smith Group concert 12/4/12 in Bridgeport, Ct. and The Rascals on 12/22/12 at The Capitol Theatre in Portchester, NY the best concert we have seen in 2012 was The Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Tour concert at Mohegan Sun Casino Arena. I am glad to see that they were filmed on this historic concert tour. The DVD and Blu-Ray edition of The Beach Boys: Live in Concert – 50th Anniversary Tour will be available on November 20, 2012.
Brian Wilson sums it up best.
“The Beach Boys 50th Anniversary tour meant so much to me personally; performing with the guys again was an absolute thrill. I’m so glad we captured it on film so that everyone, whether you were there or not, will be able to see what a historic event it was.” Brian Wilson
The new video presents a shortened version of the Beach Boys’ show with 21 songs, including classics and deep album cuts, from the band’s regular 40 to 50 songs sets each night of the tour.
What I love about this concert DVD is that we can get together and “Do It Again” and again and again
